The Cost Exporting an upright piano from Uk to Eire?

My piano holds no value money wise but is of great sentimental value- I have moved to Ireland and am looking to get my piano shipped over to Galway. It is currently waiting in the UK (Halesowen, West Mids). How much will I be looking at to get it over to Ireland as I am on a budget?

It is my hope that these new question and comment form will attract the attention of piano movers.

But I will kick off by drawing your attention to our Specialist UK Piano Movers page, and our piano movers map

The move will likely happen in 2 parts. once when your selected firm is passing in the Midlands, then probably they will need to hold it before they make an Ireland run.

This is not a personal recommend: But for example: "P and J Removals" (Bournemouth)on that map, advertise (google ads) part loads to Ireland.

But you should also look (google) for Irish companies who advertise the Uk and especially the Midlands. You possibly don't need a full-on piano company, but look for a page on pianos on a moving company's website to give you confidence.
