Tips for moving pianos over steps
When moving pianos over steps special moving trolley, with good sized wheels, many obstacles can be overcome by simply lifting one end over, onto or off a step. It may assist to place the trolley off centre, so that when lifting one end up a step the other does not scrape the ground.

Blankets and even cushions can prevent scratching if placed at the bottom of the steps.
