How to pack Porcelain Tea-Sets for Export

by Time
(Singapore)

How would you suggest me to secure all the boxes of porcelain tea-sets together?
What will be some precautions that we should take for exporting?

Answer

I would suggest that if your porcelain pieces are in their original boxes, these will already be nicely settled in soft tissue and card...so they can neither break themselves against each other, or move and rub against abrasive packaging. Consider using additional soft tissue to ensure this.

With that first line of protection arranged, The danger is from outside.

Each individual box should be well packed into an export quality packing box using bubble wrap to ensure there is no movement between them.

Then that carton should be placed into a larger export quality carton or wooden 'tea chest' with more bubble wrap around the bottom, sides and top of the inner carton.
