How to Lift a Baldwin 9' Grand Piano with a crane

I must hire a crane to put it on the 2nd floor. Turn in stairs - won't fit. No elevator. How do I pack it for the crane to lift it? Do I use ropes for the crain? What position for the ropes?

Answer: Ron... don't go there! You need a professional piano mover experienced in crane work...period!!


Preferably the piano company you select will have it's own crane, evidence of their expertise.
