Grotrian-Steinweg baby grand 1950s

by Luciano
(Gainesville, FL, USA)

Who should I contact to transport it safely from Abano (Rome) to central Florida (USA) and how much should it cost?
Thanks.

arranging a piano shipment to USA
by: student-movers-forum

I hope that these very new question pages will in time attract the attention of piano moving companies to answer and so attract clients.

But I will throw in one comment.
I can't comment on the price.

There seem to be 5 elements to consider in this.
*collection for and arrangement of shipping.
*collection and delivery from the Port of arrival.
*satisfactory crating.
*Insurance.
*Language... But I think you are Italian (speaking).

Apart from reviewing and contacting a couple of qualified movers in these Itlian pages, I would,
have a hunch it may not be crazy to contact a French or Austrian, German or British movers with export experience:- They get EVERYWHERE and piano moving is all about routes and NOT about who is based nearest.

At least you won't feel you have to engage a company in Rome for lack of choice.
There are other pages on this site for you to check out.
